Djurslands Museum
Djursland Museum was founded in 1917 as a museum of local history, which deals the culture history of the area from the antiquity and up till present time. The museum is situated in a former merchant's house from the 18th century and offers a bicycle exhibition and an archaeological collection among other things. You will find the fishery museum 'Dansk Fiskerimuseum' in the same building. This museum focuses on the eel fishery in the 19th century and up till today. You will find good suggestions for a present in the shop of the museum. Buy f.x. copies of ornaments from prehistoric finds, teddy bears, dolls, wooden toys, soap, salt from the island Læsø, honey and drops.
