Buy an old-fashioned ticket, put it into one of the old stamping machines, used by DSB (the Danish state-owned railway company) in former times, and see the large model railway, which illustrates a section of Southern Germany on a area of more than 150 square metres. Modelbane Europa disposes of more than 1,000 metres of rails, which corresponds to more than 90 km in real size. Enjoy the many small details like f.x. weddings and bank robberies and become deeply absorbed in the mountain scenery with many tunnels and bridges. See the Danish rail as well, which represents the stretch past the town Hadsten, as it appeared in the middle of the 1950ies.
You can enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, which is shaped like a railway, in the café. Equally, you can buy ice cream, soda, candy, caps, t-shirts and many other souvenirs. The children can drive with and build a LEGO® trail, or drive with a train on a Märklin ground.
