Arken

Søren Robert Lund is the architect behind this unique building, which is located by the water's edge in the bay 'Køge Bugt', app. 20 km south of Copenhagen. Arken is a museum of modern art in Denmark and attaches great importance to modern and contemporary art - especially Danish and Scandinavian art from the 20th. century. The collections of Arken contain about 350 pieces of works, consisting of photographs, paintings, installations and sculptures. Varying and interesting special exhibitions as well as concerts and lectures are arranged here.
