ARoS

Citizens of Århus established the art museum 'ARoS Århus Kunstmuseum' in the year 1859. Here you can experience collections of Danish art throughout 300 years as well as contemporary international art. The varying exhibitions in the many galleries of the museum make every visit a new experience. Continuous activities, based on the special exhibitions of the museum, are arranged here. Furthermore, concerts, lectures etc. take place here from time to time. It is possible to book a guided tour through the wide, permanent selection of the museum or the topical special exhibitions.
