Tømmerby Vikingegravplads "Højstrup Gravpladsen"

The burial place originates from around the year 800 and consists of hundreds of hills and numerous monoliths, from which a large part create a stone ship. In 1881 the burial place was scheduled as a monument. During excavations, carried out by the national museum, charred bodies have been found in the graves.
