Han Herred Havbåde

Han Herred Havbaade is an open boatbuilder's yard and an culture centre by the beach of Slettestrand. Here you can see when the boatbuilders repair and restore the old coasting vessels, which are so typical for the region, and make them seaworthy again.
In the house 'Havbådehuset', which is open on weekdays, you can have an insight into the whole process around the boatbuilding. The working boatbuilder's yard is open for the public on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. Here you can enjoy the scent of oak wood and talk to the boat builders. Furthermore, the workshop is open on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
