Egtved Pigens gravplads
In the year 1370 BC a young woman, Egtvedpigen, was buried in an oak coffin. Today, the original coffin is exhibited on the national museum in Copenhagen, Nationalmuseet, but an information centre has been established on the burial place, and here you can learn more about the famous find. Furthermore, you can see a reconstruction of the young woman¿s clothes, which pose as one of the most well-preserved dresses in the world. Each year in July a bronze age festival is arranged on the spot.
