Danish paper collages are world-famed. According to old tradition they are cut out in paper, but at the sawmill Svankjær Lille Savværk they are carved out in 3 millimetres thick wood. The exhibition contains window ornaments, Easter and Christmas decorations and much more of own design. Personal requests are being complied with as well if it is technically possible. Furthermore, you will find a large selection of high-quality candles as well as other suggestions for presents, which are beautifully wrapped up. Every Wednesday - outside the high season - you are able to make your own jumping jack according to old traditions. Remember to enrol in advance. Svankjær Lille Savværk is located in Sydthy between the villages Ørum and Svankjær.
