August Art

August Art is a combines gallery and workshop. The owner of August Art, the glass artist Britt-Mari August, is inspired by nature when she creates her glass art. She uses both coloured and clear glass and creates unique specimens in the shape of figurines, animals, houses, dishes, bowls and works of art for the garden. One of her landmarks is girls with big glass dresses, which are created in many shapes and colours.
Different varying exhibitions by pictorial artists, sculptures, ceramicists as well as glass and paper artists are arranged here.
In the gallery shop you can buy hand-made rustic candles, canvases and unique raku-burned pottery among other things. The gallery and the shop is open from Wednesday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on the first weekend of each month and when the flag is out.
