Vejlby Fed on northern Funen is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers and anglers.
 In the cove 'Båring Vig', 11 km from Middelfart and the Little Belt Bridge, the quiet and scenic holiday area Vejlby Fed is situated. The holiday house area is very attractive, especially because of the beach, which belongs among the best in Funen. A grocer's shop is available in the area in the summer time. You will find good shopping possibilities in Strib (5 km) and in Middelfart.
Beach
The lovely sandy beach by Vejlby Fed is one of the best bathing beaches on Funen and has the Blue Flag. The beach is very suitable for children, as the water is shallow. If you wish to swim in deeper water, you can make use of the long bathing jetty. The beach of Vejlby Fed also offers good opportunities for surfing.
Nature
 The level salt meadows by Vejlby Fed are a contrast to the 40 metres high cliff 'Røjle Klint', which is situated towards north. From the cliff you can enjoy a great view of the area and the sea. Here you will also find the forest 'Kasmose Skov' - a lush hardwood forest. The forest and its cliffs stretch all the way down to the coast.
Activities
The area offers good fishing possibilities along the shore and on the sea, onboard a fishing vessel or a rented boat. The coast outside the forest 'Kasmose Skov' as well as by 'Wedellsborg Hoved' are very good fishing spots.
It is possible to launch a boat from the coast.
Golf players can test the course by 'Golfklubben Lillebælt' in Middelfart.
Lovely nature experiences await you along the bicycle route, which leads you from Middelfart past the cliff 'Røjle Klint', through the forest 'Kasmose Skov' and Vejlby Fed to Bogense.
Worth a visit
 The castle 'Hindsgavn Slot' in Middelfart is situated right at the Little Belt and surrounded by forest. Visit the beautiful castle park with the many rare trees and bushes.
The beautiful white castle 'Wedellsborg Slot' is situated in Husby, and in the castle park you can see fallow deer, lakes as well as rare trees and plants.
In the forest 'Kongebroskoven' by Middelfart you can visit an animal park.
By the mill 'Brende Mølle' in Tanderup you can experience Denmark's most beautiful fish ladder.
Excursion spots
Middelfart has cosy cafés, a marina, museums and many interesting shops. The town is scenically situated, right by the Little Belt, and surrounded by forest.
'Fun Park Fyn' in Aarup is a water world and amusements for the whole family. When the entry has been paid for, all activities are free.
Visit the home town of H.C. Andersen, Odense, a modern and evocative town with a number of leisure potentialities in the shape of music, theatre, shows on the squares of the town, pedestrian streets, cafés, restaurants and pubs (45 km).
In Odense Zoo you can get close to mammals, insects, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles. A versatile animal world awaits you.
'Den Fynske Landsby' by Odense is an open-air museum, showing a Funen village environment from around the year 1850.
