Lundeborg is a small and cosy town in idyllic surroundings.
 The small fishing hamlet on the east coast of Funen has a lovely beach as well as a small marina and fishing harbour with a charming atmosphere. Here you can buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats. From Lundeborg you can enjoy the view of Langeland, and in the distance you are able to see the Great Belt Bridge faintly. It is possible to buy groceries in the town, which also offers a few restaurants.
Beach
The beach of Lundeborg is one of the loveliest beaches in Funen with coarse sand, clear water and a bathing jetty. The beach is very suitable for children and is sheltered by the hills behind the beach. Parking places and toilets are available right by the beach.
Nature
 Lundeborg is surrounded by a magnificent and vigorous nature with forests, meadows and fields. More walking and bicycle routes are available in the lovely landscape behind the town and along the coast.
The forest 'Kajbjerg Skov' is situated right by the coast on eastern Funen and contains forest lakes and marked walking paths.
Activities
Lundeborg offers good opportunities for angling and surfing. Furthermore, it is possible to go deep-sea fishing onboard a fishing vessel or just sailing on the Great Belt from Lundeborg.
The nearest 18-hole golf course is available by 'Svendborg Golfklub'. The course is scenically situated and from the highest points of the course you can enjoy the view of the south Funen archipelago.
The shores and hinterland of Lundeborg are ideal for walks or bicycle trips. It is possible to rent bicycles at the tourist information in Lundeborg.
Worth a visit
 The church of Hesselager is quite remarkable because of its semicircular house ends. The same ornamentation can be seen on the manor house 'Hesselagergård'.
'Damestenen' (the lady stone) between Vormark and Hesselager is a 1,000 tonnes heavy gneiss stone, which was brought here during the last ice age.
Visit Svendborg with the preserved old town centre, the narrow and winding alleys, the squares and the backyard environments. The town is influenced by its history, which goes all the way back to the early Middle Ages. Cultural experiences, good shopping possibilities and numerous restaurants are available here (16 km).
Excursion spots
The beautiful castle 'Egeskov Slot' by Kværndrup is characterized as one of the best preserved Renaissance island forts in Europe. See the beautiful gardens, a giant maze and more museums here (33 km).
In the aqua centre 'Fjord- & Bæltcentret' in Kerteminde you can experience the mysteries of the sea, seen with the eyes of a diver, from a 50 metres long underwater tunnel or get close to f.x. porpoise from the outdoor bridge (45 km).
Visit the home town of H.C. Andersen, Odense, a modern and evocative town with a number of leisure potentialities in the shape of music, theatre, shows on the squares, pedestrian streets, cafés, restaurants and pubs (46 km).
'Den Fynske Landsby' by Odense is an open-air museum, showing a Funen village environment from around the year 1850 (43 km).
