Zoologisk Museum

Zoologisk Museum contains a collection of more than 10 million animals, which represents up to 10 % of the animals in the world. Some of these are exhibited in the permanent and special exhibitions of the museum. The exhibition 'Danmarks Dyreverden' (Denmark's wildlife) deals with Denmark's prehistoric animals, and here you can become acquainted with a mammoth, a giant deer and an aurochs. The exhibition 'Fra pol til pol' (From pole to pole) takes you through the climate zones of the world and presents you for seals, walrus, capercailzie and lynx among others.
Varying exhibitions are arranged on the spot.
Zoologisk Museum also offers a café and a museum shop.
