Kystcentret Thyborøn

Kystcentret Thyborøn, which has a unique location - only a few hundred meters from the ocean, is the interesting attraction of the west coast. The communication is concentrated on how the waves, the sea current and the wind influence humans, flora and fauna as well as the formation of the coast scenery. In addition to the poster exhibition and the showing of video films the center contains more than 40 electronic and mechanical test elements. The visitors can experimente for themselves and work their way to an understanding of the interplay between the forces of nature - the elevating as well as the disintegrating influence on the landscape - and the constant human struggle and effort to protect the coast.
