Gl. Holtegaard

The idyllic estate Gl. Holtegaard has a central location in Greater Copenhagen.
The art hall offers 3 or 4 annual exhibitions, and presents old, modern as well as contemporary art.
Gl. Holtegaard is famous for presenting artists, who haven?t exhibited their works in Denmark before. Through a close co-operation with museums in Denmark and abroad as well as private collectors, Gl. Holtegaard is able to show both Danish and international works of art by for example P.S. Krøyer, Egon Schiele, Camille Claudel, Peter Blake, Félicien Rops and M.C. Escher.
The beautiful baroque garden that surrounds the main building of Gl. Holtegaard is a very popular excursion spot. In the summer half you can experience a number of concerts and other arrangements here.
