The holiday area Femmøller Strand is scenically situated between the nature area 'Mols Bjerge' and the cove 'Ebeltoft Vig'.

The holiday house area of Femmøller Strand is a slightly undulating nature landscape with plantation and established paths. Femmøller is a quiet and cosy holiday destination, situated close to sights for the whole family. Right behind the area you will find the preserved and spectacular nature landscape 'Mols Bjerge' with more viewpoints.
It is possible to buy groceries in Femmøller and you can dine in the area.

Beach

The beach of Femmøller is a good and sandy beach, which is suitable for children. Small elevations with growth shelter the beach.

Nature

From Femmøller the path 'Den Italienske Sti' (the Italian path) leads to Mols Bjerge, which is a magnificent and preserved nature landscape with a varying nature, a number of walking paths, grave mounds and a rich animal life. Thick forest is replaced by open moorland hills and you can enjoy a great view of Mols, the Kattegat as well as the coves 'Kalø Vig' and 'Ebeltoft Vig' from the viewpoints 'Agri Bavnehøj' (137 m) and 'Trehøje' (127 m).
The peninsular Helgenæs is situated just south of Mols Bjerge. The area is an interesting, scenic and undulating area with more culture-historical memorials.
The museum of Helgenæs, which has been established in the vicarage of the church 'Stødov Kirke', shows an exhibition about the people of Helgenæs and their living conditions.
The very undulating terrain of 'Fuglsø Bakker' provides some great views of the Helgenæs and cove 'Ebeltoft Vig'.

Activities

The area offers more golf courses, i.a. by Kalø, Ebeltoft and Grenå.
Anglers will find good opportunities from a stone jetty by the shore as well as in the stream 'Femmøller Å'.
Lovely nature experiences await you along the many walking, bicycle and bridle paths of the area.

Worth a visit

Experience the activity and the atmosphere of the two cosy holiday towns Ebeltoft and Grenå. The town carry you back in time with their narrow, cobbled streets and lopsided houses.
The frigate 'Jylland' in Ebeltoft is the largest wooden warship in the world. The hull is 71 metres long, the spread of canvas is 1,881 square metres and it weights 2,450.
In 'Ree Park - Ebeltoft Safari' the animal species are divided on four continents. Experience the fantastic spectacle over the savannah with the many different animals.
The castle ruin 'Kalø Slotsruin' from the year 1313 is a famous tourist attraction. The ruin is scenically situated right by the cove of Kalø Vig.

Excursion spots

The amusement park 'Djurs Sommerland' is a fun and interesting experience for the whole family. When the entry has been paid, you can make use of all activities for free.
An impressive sight awaits you in the aquarium 'Kattegatcentret' in Grenå. Observe the fearful sharks at close range behind a thick pane of glass.
Moat, forest, fields and meadow scenically surround the castle 'Gl. Estrup'. The castle also contains a manor house museum and an agricultural museum.
In the 'rain forest' you can experience jungle paths, rocks, crocodiles and waterfalls. Randers Regnskov lives up to its name.
