Thisted Bryghus

The brew-house Thisted Bryghus was established in 1902 and throughout the years it has expanded. Today traditional beer, ecological beer and soda water are produced here.
The assortment is very wide and consists of draught beer like Thy Pilsner, Thy Classic and økologisk Classis, Easter brews like Påskebryg and Økologisk Påskebryg, Christmas brews like Thy Julebryg, Thy Julefnug, Thy Økologisk JuleRen and Dana Julehvidtøl among others. Furthermore, a Liim Fiord stout and the strong beer Porse Guld are brewed here. The strong beer is produced with the bog myrtle plant, which grows in the area, and when it's ready for picking, all employees from Thisted Bryghus go on an excursion in nature and pick bog myrtle.
Thisted Bryghus is famous for its good quality and has formerly been awarded with international prices (f.ex. in Belgium in 1989). The products are sold everywhere in the district and with selected distributors, primarily in Northern Jutland, but also in the rest of Denmark.
