Aabybro Mejeri

Aabybro Mejeri is a combined dairy and dairy shop, and here the old-fashioned ice cream 'Ryå Is', butter and cheeses are produced. The products are made according to old craftsmanlike traditions. Solely high-quality primary produces are used in the products. The fresh Danish cream characterizes all products and the ice-cream is sweeten with Danish beet sugar. The ice-cream Ryå Is comes in one-litre packages with different flavours, as ice-cream gateaus, wedding cakes, mousse and the special ice-cream 'Ryå Energitæt Is' with an extra high content of proteins and starches, which provide the body with energy. During the summer a low-fat soft ice is manufactured here as well. The butter is made with sour cream, churned in an old-time upright dasher churn. Aabybro Mejeri produces two types of cheese: a smoked cheese and a buttermilk cheese, but sells all kinds of cheese. Furthermore, the shop offers milk and other delicacies like f.ex. wine, biscuits, marmalade and honey.
