The meat of the ostrich is low-fat, juicy, tender and red, and it has a low content of cholesterol. In the farm shop of Kærgaarden you can buy ostrich products like liver paste, smoked fillet, minced meat, salami, fillet steak, goulash, roast beef, rump steak and Frankfurter. Furthermore, ostrich feathers, decorated eggs, shells, ice cream etc. are available on the spot.
