Crispo Denmark in Taars near Hjørring was established in 1992. Crispo Denmark endeavours to produce and sell exclusive, hand-made potato chips both in Denmark and abroad. The potato chips are manufactured like in former times by means of cleaned, but unpeeled potatoes and completely free of additives. They are boiled in peanut oil without transfatty acid in open kettles until the potato slices are light brown. In that way the chips become thicker and crispier than usual chips, and the taste is unsurpassed.
