The water tower 'Esbjerg Vandtårn' was erected in the year 1897 with a German mediaeval town as a model. The red water tower is the landmark of Esbjerg, and from the top of the tower you can enjoy the scenic view of the town and the harbour. The tower function as a museum of local history and contains an exhibition about water towers in Europe. Furthermore, varying exhibitions are arranged on the premises.
