Valdemars Slot

King Christian IV erected the castle Valdemars Slot during the years 1639-1644. Visit the magnificent castle on Tåsinge, which offers no less than four museums: The Big Game Trophy Museum, which is one of Denmark's most beautiful museums, the Toy Museum, the Yachting Museum and not least Denmark's largest and most extensive castle and manor house museum with art and antiquities.
Go exploring in 25 of the halls and staterooms of the castle, and let yourselves be influenced by the atmosphere of these rooms, which still appear like they did several hundred years ago.
By the castle you will find a lovely bathing beach, which invites a swim or a walk.
Furthermore, two restaurants are available on the spot, and here you can enjoy a delicious meal.
