Sophiendals Gods

The manor Sophiendals Gods emerged during the period 1876-1884. The castle was erected in Renaissance style. It was build in red bricks, has a granite foundation and a roof, made out of red Spanish tiles. The main building consists of a slightly higher middle wing with a centred entrance and two side wings with a pavilion annex. The central part of the main building has been erected in such a way that it resembles a tower and consists of two floors with staircases. You will find sandstone decorations all over the place. Today, the castle contains a hotel with restaurant as well as a shop with wine and articles for everyday use.
