Sostrup Slot

The castle Sostrup Slot is located in the north-eastern corner of Djursland, app. 12 km north of Grenå and close to the idyllic village Gjerrild with the old half-timbered houses. The history of the castle can be tracked down to the year 1388. Today, the idyllic castle is in the possession of the Cistercian nuns, and functions as a refuge, which is used in connection with the annual pilgrim days.
