Rubjerg Knude Fyr

The lighthouse of Rubjerg Knude was in operation during the years 1900-1968. After the closing down of the lighthouse a museum was established in the building. Today, the lighthouse is partially covered with sand, and in the year 2002 the sand-drift museum was relocated to the farm 'Strandfogedgården' in Rubjerg, which is situated 2 km south of the lighthouse. From the desert-like landscape you can enjoy the exceptional view of the sea and the surroundings.
