Rosenholm Slot

The castle 'Rosenholm Slot' was erected in the year 1570, and has belonged to the family Rosenkrantz ever since. Today the castle appears as a noble home and shows how Denmark's leading noble family lived their life throughout almost 450 years. On a guided tour through the many halls and rooms you can hear the story of the castle, experience the fine tapestries, Denmark's largest collection of family portraits and perhaps meet with one of the active ghosts. The palace garden, surrounding the castle, is also worth a visit.
