Ribe Kloster

The Dominican friars founded the monastery Ribe Kloster in the year 1228. This is one of the best-preserved monasteries in the country. It is located in Ribe's old quarter and surrounded by a large park - the former orchard of the monetary. Unfortunately the monastery can only be observed from the outside, as the building has been converted into sheltered housing for the elderly. However the cloister is accessible during the opening hours of the church. Allow yourselves a rest in the evocative cloister - one of the most peaceful places in Ribe.
