Østrupgård

The estate Østrupgård is a former manor and was mentioned for the first time in the year 1456. The present national renaissance building was erected during the years 1881 and 1882. Østrupgård is build in two storeys, has a slated roof and an octagonal tower with copper roof. In the 1930'ies the castle was used as an institution for 'girls with problems' and today, it functions as a home for disabled persons. Therefore, the castle can only be observed from the outside.
