Østerlars Rundkirke

The church 'Østerlars Rundkirke' was erected around the year 1150 as a defence church. The church is build out of raw and split granite boulders and consists of a circular nave. The nave is build up around a thick centre column. The centre column of the under church is decorated with frescos from around the year 1350.
