Hospitalsbunkeren

The bunker Hospitalsbunkeren is located a few hundred metres west of the airfield of Lemvig. The bunker was build in 1943/44 and with its all together 21 rooms, divided on 2 storeys, it was the larges bunker of its kind. The hospital of the bunker was only meant to be put into service in case of fightings, and therefore it was never used. The bunker contains an exhibition, dealing with the airfield during and immediately after the war.
