Klosterkirken

The abbey church Klosterkirken belongs to the former Franciscan monastery, which was build in the 15th century. The church is situated in the centre of Nykøbing Falster. Visit the porch, the nave as well as the choir and admire the inventory. Become deeply absorbed in f.x. commemorative tablets and listen to the organ and the carillon with its 26 bells. The herb garden, which was established in 1970 between the monastery wings, is also worth a visit. Here you can make the acquaintance of app. 25 different plants and herbs.
