Egeskov Slot

Visit the large park with the many different gardens, the interesting museums - f.x. the Oldtimer Museum, which displays aeroplane and cars, as well as the spectacular castle. Egeskov Slot was built by Frands Brockenhuus in the year 1554 on a foundation of oak pilings and today it stands as the best preserved Renaissance moat in Europe. Here you can experience The Hunting Room, The Yellow Room with Louis XVI furniture as well as the beautiful Knight's Hall. After a tour of the castle it is recommendable to pay the cosy Café Jomfru Ringborg a visit.
