Den Tilsandede Kirke

South of Skagen, in the plantation area east of the main road, you will find the old church tower, named 'Den Tilsandede Kirke'. The rest of the church - the nave - was torn down. The enourmous sand drift caused the end of the church. Use the church as a starting point for a beautiful walk in the area along the marked walking paths. Further down the spit, south of the plantation, you will find a large dune and moor area. The main road is carried through here.
