Ringkøbing Fjord

The inlet is 40 km long, 10 km wide and has access to the North Sea through the lock of Hvide Sande.
A number of leisure activities are available in the area, like f.x. golf, angling and sailing, but the inlet is especially popular among surfers because of the good winds and the shallow water. Along the inlet you will find more surf schools - among others Westwind in Bork Havn, which offers every kind of instructions for both beginners and experienced windsurfers.
Furthermore, Ringkøbing Fjord offers good fishing opportunities, lovely bathing beaches and good conditions for sailors of all levels.
