Before the ride, trained staff at Rømø Ranch will ask you about your wishes and demands and recommend you either a gentle horse or a wilder one. Likewise, the size of the horse or the pony must match to the individual rider. At Rømø Ranch you will find all breeds of horses: Shetland horses, Welch ponies, Arabian and Hanoverian horses.
All rides take place on the beach or in the other areas of natural beauty on Rømø, and a riding teacher or a trained member of the staff accompanies the riders. More experienced riders can possibly get specific permission to ride without escort.
