Borbjerg Mølle

The restaurant Borbjerg Mølle Kro is idyllically situated in a large, scenic nature area between the town Holstebro and the open-air museum Hjerl Hede, and it is much more than a restaurant. The old water mill is still functioning and leads the water from the millpond through the stream Hellegaard Å and out in the Liim Fiord. The restaurant is a mixture of antique and modern design. The basement contains a mill museum and it is also possible to watch the ole watermill in action here. In the kitchen creative chefs cook both small light meals and more extensive menus, which can satisfy even the most fastidious palate. Outside the mill it is possible to engage yourselves in activities. Among other things you can walk and sail in canoe, on water cycle or in rowboat. Furthermore, you can angle or play golf on the nearby 9-hole course.
